FORD EXPLORER ASBUILT

Hello together. Why it´s not possible in the AsBuilt Editor to select a Ford Explorer. Sometimes i know from a forum, which digit i have to change in a certain block, so i have to use ForScan, but i prefer UCDC. Can you help please?

Simply because the ASBuilt Editor is only used on cars with CCC (Central Car Configuration).
Explorer, as many other Fusion-based cars (Fusion, Mondeo, S-Max, Galaxy, Edge) is using a different software platform after 2015 (in Europe) and 2013 (in US).
This might be confusing as some cars (see Focus Mk3) are using both CCC and DirectConfig.
In a nutshell DirectConfig is the module configuration stored directly on the module, and CCC where the configuration is stored centrally, in BCMii.

Thank you for your answer. I thought, that AsBuilt makes the possibility to change each digit, similar as ForScan.

The UCDS adapter can be used in Forscan. Takes about 25 seconds to fire up Forscan to make an AsBuilt change. You can also now by a lifetime license for Forscan so you don’t even need to worry about renewing the extended license.

Lifetime license? It’s new for me. Sounds good, will check it.
I know that I can use the UCDS adapter with ForScan, but I tough, it would be easier to change the digits by UCDS
