Hello,

i want to chip my cars PCM. Because it's build 10/2010 (FL Design with preFL-Motor) the PCM is not chipable by CAN (OBD-Port Tuning-Lock), so i need to remove the PCM, send it to a tuner and put it back afterwards. In the meantime i could not drive my car, so i decided to buy an equal PCM "8G91-12A650-EN" to send this one to the tuner. After returning i can swap both modules within a day.

BUT, i need to reprogramm the new PCM to my keys, otherwise my car won't crank. How can i do this?

you are going to use ford fdrs to code the key againg and to syncronise the pcm to the other modules in the car
and the tuning is not a problem to do by obd it is not nessesary to send the pcm it takes about 10-15minutes to rad and about an hour then it will bee back ready to be flashed back with out any isue with injecktors or keys

How would you flash new maps to the PCM when there is an OBD Locking? All I know is that one needs to open the module and programm it via JTAG. If there is an other way, please explain me how!!

it should be possibe to reprogram it first with the original software number written on the pcm with vbf loader and then look about the injectors are there still if they are it should be possible to flash it as the vbf is a complete software for the module and every thing should be overwritten as it was leaving factory as a new car and before you start take screen shot of the injektors it is much easyer to do before any thing else if they are deleted when reprograming the module
