I have an MK4 early facelift (10/2010) which has the old 2.2 TDCi engine. I tried to upgrade my cruise control to ASL (adjustable speed limiter) by changing the buttons (le+ri) to one with the ASL (1.100 Ohms) but it seems my BCM/PCM does not support it. Nothing happens after pushing the speedlimiter button.
Any hints here?

you enable ASL in Central Configuration (use Asbuilt Editor-> #224 With ASL)?
