Waht happens after Token/License transition?

As of today i found this dialog when opening my installed v3 UCDS

First: I do not know if my adapter is v4 or not, because i can't start to prog to look into.
Next: What happens to my lifetime licence if i would choose to transform it? Looks like it then expires after 18 month? Do i need to pay again after this period and how much? And why?

And it seems v2 is not working anymore. If i start it, if will look for a license, then said license found and restart required, but after restart the same happens again. Trapped!
