Hi There,

I try to upgrade Transit and Transit Custom 2.0 Ecoblue (Euro 6) from 105 or 130 to 170HP.
I need the secondary Bootloader file.
Any idea on how to figure this out? IDS or FDRS maybe?

Do you have update wizard?

Download update for current PCM software then look in the ucds calibration folder under your vin number.
The smallest file is your bootloader!

The update wizzard does not recognise this engine.

software GK21-14C204-ACL

Indeed, Ford has made almost everything different from Euro V to Euro VI.
Asbuilt editor also does not work because BCM hardware number is not recognised.

Any info on this? I also am interested as i am getting the 130hp car and want to upgrade it to the 170hp map.

I still did not find a way to determine the secondairy-bootloader for this engine.

Does anyone else have any info?

It does, but there is no pcm update for it. Is it because ford hasnt issued one yet?

Even if it has no update, you can choose PCM row and push button Next >

There are quite a lot of updates for this engine.

But how? My update wizard shows none, and only pcm update isnt available

SW update won't upgrade the power (105->130->170), so what's the point in updating?

Well my engine isnt working smooth this is why i need to update it.

Also from the 130 to the 170, there are a lot of differences in the engines so i wouldnt recommend anyone to change it.

what do you mean by differences?

Different turbo, different flywheel is the things i know they have different.

I am pretty sure other stuff will be different as well. Plus the 130 turbo is running at 1.6bar stock pressure, i doubt you can get any more power from that.
