I want to install apim with navigation in a Mondeo mk5 with sync 3.
What do I need to program te get the navigation working?

Sync 3 with navigation and without , have different hardware (low RAM, low NAND)
Only way, change Sync 3 on with Navigation, or use mobile app.

I installed different hardware, but do I need to do to configure the new hardware?

If you don't find factory navigation app after you installed an APIM with navigation, then you need to "Turn ON Navigation Application" in the direct config of APIM.
