It's completely the same engine for both models.

Yes this must be possible, but UCDS doesn't support the MK8 Fiesta at this time.

My parents bought the 125HP version instead, so I guess there is a possibility to go to 140HP?

It migth be possible to do with vbf file because it is not possible to do with kess they have used a new type of pcm from bosch wich is tunings protected i has to opened and read and programed but it would be nice to try by loading another org file
the modul they are using now is a med17.8.8 where they used med 17.1.1 that was posible to do with kess on obd

If you want to give me VIN number or check yourself on ford etis then you have software version from ford and I'll know which file to download from for motorservice page

i can just say that it is a pain in the ass to do any thing with i have burned 2 pcm trying to chip them with original kess no problem reading them but write the writing stopped sat 48 % and then no more action it was impossible to reconstruct it i tried both ucds dead module and all possibility there is with ford ids etisids fdrs gfdrs the only thing was a new pcm the second was read perfecft and writing went all the way 100% and said ok to the programming but it was a no start and half of all things in the car disapered such as lane assist esp sign recognition abs auto ligth and it was not possible to delete errror codes or restore the pcm and again it was with an original kess and alientech in italy said not their fault it should work
so before beginning to use software that belong to another type be aware that it could cost a new pcm and programing at ford because off programing pats
just to inform every body that want to play it is not cheap to play
